Daily gaming limits
Select games and set one allowance shared across them. Apple’s Screen Time controls pause selected games after the allowance is used, until the next local midnight. Enable notifications for warnings with 10 and 2 minutes remaining.
Parental controls on your child’s device
Parent mode uses a six-digit PIN to protect changes. The free plan covers two selected games and Require Password purchase protection. Parent Pro adds unlimited games or the Games category, bedtime, device-wide in-app purchase blocking and seven days of daily gaming time.
A focused playbook for gamers
Set an allowance for one game for free. Gamer Pro adds unlimited games, bedtime, Hard Mode until the daily reset, weekly totals, reported-day averages and a four-week activity grid. It is a one-time purchase; Parent Pro is a separate monthly subscription.
Private activity reports
Reports render inside Apple’s Screen Time report extension. We do not receive game identities or activity reports. Days without reported activity data are marked as unknown. There is no account, advertising or behavioral analytics.

Set up on the right device
Use Parent mode on your child’s iPhone or iPad, signed in to their child or teen Apple Account in your Family Sharing group. Approve Apple’s Screen Time authorization request as the parent or guardian. Use Gamer mode on your own iPhone or iPad with individual approval.
How the daily allowance works
Time in the games you select is combined into one daily allowance. Apple shields those games after the allowance is used, until the next local midnight. Allow notifications for the 10-minute and 2-minute warnings. Bedtime can keep games blocked after midnight until its window ends.
Protection or reports need attention
Open the app and check Today. Review Screen Time permission in device Settings, then use Controls to check your selected games. Reports come from Apple and may take time to refresh; pull down on Today to request a refresh. Real enforcement requires a supported iPhone or iPad and Apple authorization.
Parent PIN and Hard Mode
Your six-digit Parent PIN is stored securely on the device. Change it in Settings using your current PIN. We cannot recover it. Gamer Hard Mode locks changes inside the app until the next local midnight. Individual authorization still allows system-level revocation or app removal.
Purchase Guard
Require Password asks for the Apple Account password for purchases. Parent Pro can block in-app purchases. These restrictions apply across the device, including purchases outside your selected games.
Restore or cancel Pro
Use Restore Purchases in Settings with the Apple Account that bought the matching plan. Parent Pro renews monthly; cancel in device Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Gamer Pro is a one-time purchase. Resetting the app does not cancel a subscription.

This policy covers the Game Blocker iPhone and iPad app and this support website, operated by the Game Blocker team. Contact help@clearlysimple.app with privacy questions.
Information kept on your device
Your game selection, daily allowance, bedtime, and protection settings are stored on your device. Your Parent PIN is stored as a salted hash using iOS secure storage. Apple’s Screen Time frameworks monitor selected activity and render private reports. We do not receive game identities, activity reports, or your PIN on our servers.
Purchases
Apple processes payments. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, maintain Pro access, and restore purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier, transaction and entitlement information, and technical device information needed to operate the purchase service. We do not attach a name or email address to that identifier. RevenueCat does not receive your game selection, usage reports, or PIN.

No account, ads, or behavioral analytics
The app has no account sign-in, advertising, or behavioral analytics. We do not sell or rent personal information and do not use your gaming activity for advertising.
Children and families
A parent or guardian configures Parent mode on the child’s device and approves Apple’s authorization request. The app does not ask children to provide names, contact details, or other personal information. A parent or guardian should contact support on a child’s behalf.
Permissions and deletion
Screen Time permission enables monitoring and shielding. Notification permission enables allowance warnings. You can review these permissions in device Settings. Reset Setup clears saved rules, game selection, and the local PIN after any required PIN check or Hard Mode lock. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records as needed to provide access and meet their obligations. Resetting setup does not cancel a subscription. Contact us about purchase-service data requests.
When you contact us
Emailing support shares your email address and message with us and our email provider. We use them to answer your request and retain them only as needed to resolve it and meet applicable obligations. Do not send passwords or PINs.
This website
This site uses no analytics, advertising, forms, or tracking cookies. Inter fonts are served with the website. GitHub Pages hosts the site and may process technical access information such as IP addresses for hosting and security; see GitHub’s privacy statement. Opening third-party links is subject to those services’ policies.

Purchase information
The app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.
Parent Pro
A monthly auto-renewable subscription for Parent features. The localized price and billing period are shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Manage or cancel in Apple Account subscription settings.
Gamer Pro
A one-time non-consumable purchase for Gamer features. It does not renew. Restore with the Apple Account that purchased it. Parent Pro and Gamer Pro unlock their respective modes.
What to expect
Protection depends on Apple’s Screen Time authorization and supported iOS behavior. Individual authorization can be revoked through system settings and does not prevent app removal. The app limits selected games; it does not manage games on consoles, computers, or other phones. Purchase Guard affects the whole device. We do not guarantee saved money, academic outcomes, or a particular reduction in gaming.
